It’s that time of year again where Toowoomba cements its place on the map as one of Australia’s most beautiful cities. The carnival is held in September each year.
Today we travel west along the Warrego Highway to the top of the Great Dividing Range taking in the patch work quilted farming landscape of the Lockyer Valley.
Our first stop will be the famous Picnic Point where you can experience the breathtaking views while enjoying morning tea. From here you will be taken to a variety of locations including the grand champion gardens. A few of the displays also sell flowers.
Lunch will be at the City Golf Club, with Dessert, Tea & Coffee also included.
After lunch there are is a few more gardens and parks to view, like Queens Park.
