Ferry to North Stradbroke Island. Sightseeing around the historic town of Dunwich, the Bingle Rd Cemetery and Junner Rd Convict Sites, we find the convict Privy Pit and Site of Convict Barracks and Store. We visit the Islands Historical Museum. Here we will have morning tea, Lunch at Sea Shells Café Amity Point, fish, chips and salad followed by dessert with tea or coffee.
After lunch we head to one of “Straddies” must see attractions the North Gorge Walk. The complete circuit will take approximately 30 – 45 mins to walk and takes in the spectacular panoramic views of beaches and the Pacific Ocean. You may even spot dolphins and migrating whales or grab an ice cream.
