Stradbroke Island

SEASONAL – June to November to cover whale watching

A picturesque ferry ride to North Stradbroke Island is a great way to start our day of sightseeing.

We explore the historic town of Dunwich including the Bingle Rd Cemetery, Junner Rd Convict Sites, Convict Privy Pit and Convict Barracks with a visit to the Islands Historical Museum before enjoying lunch at Amity Point.

After lunch we head to North Gorge Walk.

The complete circuit will take approximately 30-45 minutes with easy viewing points only a short walk away.

Take in spectacular panoramic views of the Gorge, beaches and the Pacific Ocean. You may even spot dolphins, turtles and migrating whales or grab an ice cream and relax while taking in the vista!
