The tour starts with a leisurely drive to the Port of Brisbane Visitors Centre where you will have the opportunity to look through the displays within. Enjoy morning tea at the picnic area at the Visitors Centre.
Then re-board the coach and be met by our personal guide for a detailed tour around the Port of Brisbane. The tour will highlight all aspects of the workings of the port and lasts around 1.5 hours, finishing up on the 7th floor observation deck for expansive views of the port and wetlands.
We then head to the Historical Breakfast Creek Hotel for lunch where you will have an alternate drop or pre ordered Menu choice.
Then it’s either a short leisurely stroll or drive across the “Breaky Creek” to Newstead House, Brisbane’s oldest surviving residence and an established house museum, decorated and furnished to reflect the late Victorian period, a significant part of Brisbane history. Here you will enjoy a self-guided tour, before we head home.
