Enjoy a leisurely drive north taking in the views of the Glasshouse Mountains as we pass Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo to the Sunshine Coast Hinterlands.
Our first stop for today will be the Maleny Cheese Factory where we will learn all about the fine art of cheese making from the Simpson family, 3rd generation dairy farmers, who with the help of Swiss trained cheese makers produce some of the finest cheeses in Australia. Here you will enjoy a Devonshire Tea and cheese tasting with the opportunity to purchase some of the delicious products.
Continuing along the Blackall Range, boasting beautiful views, we make our way to Montville. There you will have ample time to explore all the hidden treasures this little town has on offer, from art galleries to speciality shops, while breathing in the fresh and sometimes crisp mountain air.
Bring your own lunch and picnic in the park or choose from many of the terrific café’s in the iconic mountain village. Group lunches can be organised at Secrets on the Lake or the Montville Café Bar & Grill with menu’s starting from $24pp.
