Once taking almost two days each way, our tour today follows some of the old Cobb & Co Stage Coach route from Ipswich to Toowoomba.
We take in sights of the lovely Lockyer Valley stopping for morning tea at one of the staging posts along the route, passing through the townships of Walloon, Rosewood, Laidley, just to name a few, finishing at the historic “Spring Bluff Railway Station”. Don’t forget your camera for the station’s beautiful gardens. Gaining knowledge from your driver as they provide informative commentary about the history and the stories of the areas you are travelling through.
We stop for lunch in Toowoomba before entering to the Cobb & Co Museum in the afternoon for our guided tour.
Reaching the end of our time at the Museum we board the coach for home via the newly constructed 2nd range passing, once thought impassable.
