Eligibility Criteria
– Singaporeans born 1 January 1950 to 31 December 1959 and had become citizens by 31 December 1996.
– Individuals born on or before 31 December 1949 but not qualified to benefit under the Pioneer Generation Package may also qualify.
– Should have a valid Merdeka Generation (MG) card or e-card which can be retrieved by the LifeSG app.
Important Information
– The benefits are automatically claimed, without further claims in case the seniors are registered.
– When accessing healthcare services, MG card holders are expected to be showing their cards in order to access subsidies.
– Old people will be advised to undergo a regular check up and make use of the subsidies to cover the out of pocket costs.
